"Methodist chapel. Dated 1845 over doorway; slightly altered. Coursed roughly-squared sandstone rubble with dressed plinth and quoins, graduated green slate roof. Rectangular single-cell plan (approx. 9 x 6 metres), plus a small lean-to extension added to north gable. Single storey, 2 windows, symmetrical: a round-headed doorway in the centre with squared monolithic pilasters, moulded imposts and a keystone (C20 electric lamp now attached to this), double doors each with 2 vertical panels, and an altered fanlight; round-headed windows in matching surrounds with 4-pane glazing and hinged fanlights; and above the doorway a stone plaque lettered "METHODIST / CHAPEL / A.D. 1845". Moulded gutter cornice. Small set-back lean-to at right-hand end, with doorway and brick corner chimney. rear: 2 plain round-headed windows."
