hearsay:-
The railway around here is exposed to the wildest winter weather. In the blizzards of February and March 1942 a snowplough and locomotive were snowbound at Barras. And again in Fenruary 1947 a J12 0-6-0 locomotive and snowplough were stuck in the drifts that they came to clear.
