"In the same field [Fenwick's Allotment], but below the road and not far from the south-western wall, a small hole in a nook of rook is the opening to another cave of a similar nature to the last near the mouth, but here partly blocked with some stones to prevent sheep from falling down, as a vertical descent of a few feet has to be made in order that exploration of the passage may follow."
