"School dated AD 1849 on lintel over entrance. Limewashed rubble walls with stone quoins, graduated greenslate roof with stone ridge tiles; roughcast rendered chimney on right hand gable. Single storey. Entrance porch with low roof to left has vertically boarded and studded door under small gable with decorative barge boards. 2 C19 sash windows with vertical glazing bars. Small extension to right at lower level has vertically boarded door and hipped roof. Rear has 1 sash window and 1 window with fixed glazing both with 36 panes. Attractively sited among trees on the edge of the churchyard."
