"Public House. Possibly C17 or early C18 but much altered. Roughcast, the front with stucco painted as timber framing, slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Ground floor has window with paired sashes and low wide sashed window with vertical glazing bars and horns. 1st floor has sashed windows with glazing bars. Central entrance. Gable-end stacks. Left return has 3 sashed windows with glazing bars and one casement. Right return has 2 casements. Rear wing to Victoria St is later, of no special interest. Interior has chamfered beams. Included for group value."
