| "'YE SHALL REVERENCE MY SANCTUARY.'" |
||
| "BELFRY RULES." |
||
| "1. The Belfry is as much CONSECRATED as any other part of the Church; therefore no
unecessary talking, laughing, or unruly conduct, can be allowed there." |
||
| "2. Any man wishing to become a Ringer must be a Communicant, approved by the Vicar,
and unanimously elected by the whole Company, and must be a Ringer six months before
receiving any pay." |
||
| "3. All Ringers should endeavour to attend the Holy Communion at 9a.m. on the second
Sunday in every month." |
||
| "4. The Entrance Fee is Two Shillings, which will also admit to the 'Cumberland Association
of Change Ringers.'" |
||
| "5. Service Ringing to occupy half-an-hour. Ringers to meet in the Belfry at 9.55 a.m.
and 5.55 p.m., when the Roll will be called. Any Ringer coming late will forfeit a
marl." |

| "6. General Weekly Practice on Friday, at 7 p.m. Ay Ringer later than ten minutes will
be fined twopence. A[ll] fines to be deducted at Christmas, and divided among the
other Ringers. All Ringers should endeavour to attend the Extra Practice on [ ] at
