The oldest bell of the four is the Harrington Bell; inscribed:-
"[MARIA / WILHELMUS DE HARYNGTON DOMINUS DE ALDINGHAM ET DOMINA MARGARETA UXOR EJUS]"
Sir William Harrington was a standard bearer at the Battle of Agincourt, he died 1458. The bell was a gift to Conishead Priory; it may have been purchased from there after the Dissolution, about 1536.
