The same conglomerate and flags as at trail point 10 are exposed here but in the opposite order; conglomerate upstream, brathay flags downstream, and more steeply bedded. There is a syncline between the two viewpoints, the trough in the brathay flags filled with conglomerate.

The brathay flags are said to have 'abundant' fossil graptolites. 15 minutes hard looking in freshly eroded rocks failed to locate a graptolite.
