	10 November 1817:- and afternoon to the Ch[ ] with my wife & Children I [staid] at home to put things in order - 10 Left Ambleside with Mr Allison took the coach at Matthews and went on it to Christopher Hodgsons - afternoon drawings 11 began to finish the drawings 12 drawings -- 13 drawings - 14 drawings 15 drawings 16 Sunday walked with Jane in the wood 17 drawings 18 finished the drawings -- 19 began writing -- 20 writing -- 21 writing -- 22 writing -- 23 went with Mr Allison and Jane to Borrowdale a good sermon, by Mr Long. dined with Allisons family in the same honest stile I have [previously there] the day was very pleasant 24 went with Jonathan Otley and Jane to Mr Fryer a pleasant [ ]day day 25 writing -- 26 putting things in order dined at Mr [Fri]ttons 27 left Ambleside[deleted] Keswick with Jane & got well to Ambleside Jane never walked so far before found all well 28 putting things in order
