"C17, much restored. White-washed rubble, new slate roof, C19 windows, South front has 3 gables, and an added stone porch. Right hand end towards the road has a shallow 2-storeyed bay window with wood mullions. Rear wing (former stables) is reconstructed with timber glazed gallery on old timber posts."

Built 1617. There is a long spinning gallery, but it is now enclosed by timber frame and plaster work, with glass above.
Since 1780 the Hunt Supper has been held here each Februray, and a Mayor of the Hunt enthroned. He presided over village disputes.
