"Bridge over river Winster. C18 or early C19. Dressed stone. Segmental arch with keystone; band and coped parapet. Probably connected with the C18 ironworks of Isaac and John Wilkinson built on site of present farm, where cast iron water pipes remain, and probably built by them as part of their drainage scheme. Part of this bridge is in Upper Allithwaite C.P. ..."
