hearsay:-
New church built 1704.

hearsay:-
There was perhaps an old church at Daleraven for an old settlement on the Kirkoswald road which was washed away when the Eden changed its course, 12th century. Gravestones, parts of a cross shaft, etc were found in the Eden's bed in a drought year, 1913, and are now in the church porch.
