"Chapel, being renovated at time of survey (Jan. 1984); c1864. Rough-dressed coursed, squared, rubble on chamfered plinth; buttresses. Steeply-pitched graduated slate roof with gabled bellcote to south end; stone copings and kneelers to gables. Latin Cross plan; single tall storey, 3 bays. Lower vestry to centre on east side. North and south ends each have a door, with pointed head, under a shallow, gabled porch; south porch has single, squat, polished granite column, with foliate capital, to each jamb. Single-light windows with cusped heads except for projecting central west bay which has large, traceried, window."

"Monument. Inscription dated 1866; erected in memory of Joseph Roberts of Egremont (died 1861), a local benefactor. Masons' signature on east side of plinth: W &J EILBECK EGREMONT. Stone. Decorated Gothic style, square in plan, c10 ft high. Moulded plinth on 2 steps. Clustered shafts with foliate capitals to corners; inscription on cusped panel to each face. Gabled top has crockets and apex crosses; surmounted by octagon, carried on columns, with apex cross to tapered finial."

"Entrance lodge, dated 1864 over door. Rough-dressed, coursed rubble with quoins on chamfered plinth. Graduated slate roof with stone copings, kneelers, and finials to gables. 2 storeys, 3 bays, built at right-angles to road. Central gabled porch has part-glazed door in surround with 4-centred head. Window to each side and 1st floor right. South return has 2-storey bay window. All windows sashes without glazing bars, in chamfered surrounds. Coursed rubble wall adjoins south-west corner; c7 ft high with moulded coping. Gate piers square in plan, c10 ft high, with moulded plinth and corniced cap. Cast-iron gates have cusped quatrefoils to lower sections and fleurs-de-lis to top rail."
